On Friday, 7 September 2018 the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) launched the program of events as part of its celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of it’s foundation under the VO Act.

The Council is celebrating its anniversary which during its first decade created new initiatives in aid of the sector with clear objectives to address the needs of both the sector and volunteers. These celebrations shall also serve to map the way forward so that together with the sector, strengthen the VO presence in society as a whole and this, complimented with the enactment of the New law in the coming months, should go a long way address the main objectives of all voluntary organisations which is to be given better recognition for their work towards the interest of society and the sector in which they work.
