In the framework of the GBVSO project, we are announcing the launch of the VIOLET online course, an Award in Gender-Based Violence Support for Human Resources Professionals. It is an accredited programme by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education, with 2 ECTS credits at EQF/MQF Level 5 divided into two modules. This award includes various guests from the field of gender-based violence and human resources who impart their specialized knowledge and talk about their practical experiences. The programme is structured over 2 CoRE Modules and each module will be delivered over a period of 2 weeks and an extra study week.

This course is free of charge and fully online. The first intake is scheduled on Monday 4th November 2019.
The GBVSO project is a partnership between Solidarity and Overseas Service Malta (SOS Malta), Victim Support Malta, CORE platform, Commission on Domestic Violence and Gender Based Violence (CDV) and Advenio E-academy (AeA LTD).
As a project, GB-VSO aims to strengthen the support systems for Victims of Gender Based Violence. It follows the premise that providing comprehensive support structures, increasing the capacity to respond, together with awareness raising, will contribute to ensuring that victims understand their situation, and feel empowered and supported to speak out. This project will specifically look at the workplace as a place where support structures could be strengthened.
