Youth 4 Entrepreneurship – Gozo – 2021
The Gozo Business Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry for the Economy, and Industry, the Gozo Regional Development Authority, Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, Bank of Valletta, and EUROPE DIRECT Gozo, is proud to announce the third edition of the ‘Youth 4 Entrepreneurship Gozo’ event. This event, which will form part of the events being organised during the SME Week, will take the form of a contest for potential young entrepreneurs who wish to share business ideas related to Gozo. The overall goal of this initiative is to instill confidence in young people enabling them to reach their full potential, direct attention to the economic potential and challenges facing the island of Gozo, whilst encouraging young people to adopt an innovative approach to develop their business ideas based on Gozo’s needs and potential.
This year’s Youth 4 Entrepreneurship contest will focus specifically on two areas ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Digitalisation’. Though sustainability was the focus of last year’s edition, this is still an important topic in today’s reality. Potential young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to submit their ideas by not later than Friday 29th October 2021 on the following link. All eligible participants will be able to present their business idea during an event to be held on Friday 12th November 2021.
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ will be conducting 2 coaching sessions for potential applicants. The first session is going to be held on Thursday 21st October at 6.30pm which will be held online and the second session on Saturday 23rd October at 9.00am which will be face to face. Potential applications may apply for this session by registering on this link by not later than Friday 15th October 2021.
