Details of the upcoming ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

 

Two days. Life-saving skills.

This September, join our internationally recognised ASIST training and learn how to spot the signs of suicide, provide immediate help, and build a personalised safety plan to keep someone safe.

Two intakes – Limited spots per session!

  • 1–2 September 2025
  • 4–5 September 2025

Time 09:00–17:30 (Registration from 09:00)

Venue Paola Volunteer Centre – centrally located and easy to reach

Who is it for?
Open to anyone aged 16+, including:

  • Mental health professionals & healthcare workers
  • Teachers, educators, youth workers
  • Social workers, first responders, police
  • HR managers, volunteers & community leaders

ASIST Training – PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Funding consideration: Through the Jobsplus “Investing in Skills” scheme (https://jobsplus.gov.mt/funding-employer/investing-in-skills ), private organisations, NGOs, and self-employed individuals may apply for a subsidy of the course fee. Please note that applications must be submitted directly by the organisation and filed at least 7 calendar days before the start of the course.
