Birdlife Malta – Nature Walk

27 Oct 2019 - 08:30

The BirdLife Malta Events & Activities Committee will be organising its first nature walk for this autumn. This time we will have a circular walk around Selmun, in Mellieħa.

We will start at Selmun Palace by trekking down to Mġiebaħ Valley, going up the pathway above the valley, leading to the Roman Apiaries (Mġiebaħ) and dwellings. We will proceed along the path, leading down to Mġiebaħ Bay. After having a break, we will cross the valley, up again to the starting point.

This is a moderate-to-difficult walk with some rough terrain. Appropriate footwear is recommended as the areas we will be visiting can be slippery if wet.

Meeting point

Our meeting point will be Selmun Palace in Mellieħa. We shall meet in front of the Palace at 08:30.
