Tapping Skills- Youth Worker training opportunity – Right2Smile

Tapping Skills is a training opportunity being offered by Right 2 Smile through Erasmus+ , especially for those who are working or interested to work with youths.
The Follow-Up Activity for “Tapping Skills in Drama and Play” is intended to discuss & review the learning methods delivered during the first activity.

The Training is going to be implemented in Malta from the 14th to the 16th of December 2019, with the main training activities taking place on the 14th and 15th. Participants will be youth workers from Serbia and Malta, who mainly work with fixed youth and children’s groups. New training sessions will also be given and a meeting will take place for newcomers to the project before the training so as to bring them up to speed with methods and learning outcomes. Newcomers are encouraged to apply and learn from the implementation by past participants.

“Tapping Skills” aims to:-
– Understand the power dynamics in youth mentoring relationships.
– Learn how to create healthy boundaries in youth groups and between the mentor-youth.
– Understand conflict, violence and power relationships in youth group.
– Learn how to be assertive and transform and manage conflict within youth groups.
– Learn how to use theater, drama and play methods well in youth work.
– Experience different youth  work realities through sharing of experiences, and
– Implement new youth work methods in our youth groups.

The Training will take place in Valletta (14th) and Rabat, Malta (15th). On the 16th, participants are invited to go on site visits to some schools.

Training participation is free of charge. A Youthpass Certificate will be given to participants.
