Following the inauguration of the fifth Volunteer Centre of the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) at Paola earlier this year, an additional floor has now been inaugurated. This will increase the space and support facilities for voluntary organisations in southern Malta. The modernisation works of this centre were carried out with an investment of €120,000.

This floor includes an additional two meeting rooms, an opportunity for hot desking, and other facilities, such as a kitchenette and sanitary facilities.

After Valletta, Rabat, Birkirkara and Xewkija in Gozo, this one in Paola is the fifth Volunteer Centre. This is ideal for small and medium-sized voluntary organisations that depend on this type of facility for their operations. With this investment, registered VOs will be better served with more facilities and resources, and use this space to meet and organise their activities.

Wara li ġie inawgurat il-ħames Ċentru tal-Volontarjat tal-Kunsill Malti għas-Settur tal-Volontarjat (MCVS) f’binja f’Raħal il-Ġdid aktar kmieni din is-sena, issa nfetħet magħha wkoll estensjoni ta’ sular ieħor. Din ser tkun qiegħda żżid l-ispazju u sapport b’faċilitajiet għall-għaqdiet volontarji tan-nofsinhar ta’ Malta. Ix-xogħlijiet estensivi ta’ mmodernizzar ta’ dan iċ-ċentru saru b’investiment ta’ €120,000.
