The ERA Awards celebrate individuals who make meaningful contributions to the preservation and well-being of Malta’s natural environment. These Awards highlight ERA’s dedication to honouring those who devote their efforts whether through academia, activism, innovation, or sustainable practices—to safeguarding Malta’s environmental future.

One of the awards is called The Environmental Stewardship Award for Voluntary Organisations and is intended to recognise projects or initiatives led by voluntary organisations as important environmental stewards and enablers of the environmental sustainability agenda, through effective community engagement and outreach.
