Our European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project brought together an incredible mix of passionate young volunteers and dedicated host organisations in Malta while creating a dynamic blend of cultures, creativity, and purpose.
From rescuing horses and caring for shelter animals to styling charity shop windows and crafting bold social media content, our volunteers left their mark in every corner they reached. In return, they gained more than just experience. They discovered confidence, resilience, lifelong friendships, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Behind the scenes, a strong mentorship structure helped each volunteer thrive, with dedicated guidance and space to grow while ensuring that this was more than just volunteering; it was a full-circle learning journey.
This ESC adventure wouldn’t have been possible without the inspiring participations of Nico, Mariona, Annika, Violette, Meri, and Vincent. Thank you for bringing your energy, heart, and volunteering spirit to Malta.
A special thanks also goes to our amazing hosts, AAA, RMJ Horse Rescue, MSPCA, and Missio Malta, for opening your doors and creating meaningful experiences. To our mentor George Farrugia, thank you for your constant support and care. And to all the staff at EUPA, your continued guidance and encouragement were invaluable throughout every stage of this project.
This ESC journey wasn’t just a project. It was a shared adventure of impact, empowerment, and unforgettable memories.
