The first two schemes for this year have been announced by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS). These are the NGO Co-Financing Fund (NCF), which provides voluntary organisations with the portion of co-financing not covered by European funds, and the Training Initiatives Scheme (TIS), which offers financial support for training to voluntary organisations, their members, and volunteers.

The schemes were launched at the Soċjetà Mużikali Santa Katarina VM ż-Żurrieq. Through the NGO Co-Financing Fund, the organisation installed security systems against theft and fire, as well as a modern CCTV system to protect its instruments, facilities, historical documents, and the organisation’s building.
