Funding awarded to voluntary organisations for 87 community projects

A total of around €1 million in funding from the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) has been awarded to a number of voluntary organisations for the implementation of 87 new community projects. The funding followed a competitive call open to organisations registered and compliant with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations and eligible under the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme (VOPS) and the Small Initiatives Scheme (SIS).

The grants were presented by Julia Farrugia, Minister for Inclusion and the Voluntary Sector, in the presence of MCVS Chairperson Gertrude Buttigieg and Chief Executive Officer Mauro Pace Parascandalo.
