11 volunteers are currently in Malta for the iLIVE! Project. The participants are working to create a more inclusive volunteering culture in the Sports Sector. With the support of a mentor, the volunteers are designing an awareness campaign that will be launched later this year to encourage both young people with disabilities and new sports organisations to work together, promoting personal and professional growth! The iLIVE! project provides learning opportunities for young people with disabilities through sports volunteering, while fostering inclusive learning experiences and encouraging participation in both mainstream and disability-focused sports.
The Inclusive Learning In Volunteering Experiences (ILIVE) is financed by the European Solidarity Corps Programme and is being implemented in conjunction with the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV), which is the project coordinator. More information about the project HERE.
