The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is organising a National Conference on ‘The Future of Volunteering: Strengthening Sustainable Communities‘.
This is being held on Saturday 16th May between 9am and 2pm at the Westin Dragonara Point Ballroom, St. Julian’s. Registration is free of charge for members of enrolled VOs and a stand-up networking lunch will follow at around 1.30pm for everyone attending the conference.
This event brings together leaders, volunteers, and stakeholders to discuss how the voluntary sector can adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving society. Keynote sessions will address AI as a tool for impact and strengthening the voluntary sector for the future and sustaining voluntary organisations within changing communities.
Interested members of VOs are invited to fill in the form linked below to reserve a place at the conference. All participants will attend both workshops planned, which will be related to engaging youth in volunteering and leadership and building sustainable organisations through effective funding, governance, and community impact respectively.
N.B. Conference will take place in Maltese. In view of this, English to Maltese and Maltese to English interpretation will be provided.
Booking is on a first-come first-served basis until Friday 24th April 2026 or until the conference is fully booked.
