The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is collecting data with regards social prescribing (or lack thereof) in Malta.
Social prescribing is a healthcare approach that connects people with non-medical services to improve their well-being. Instead of just prescribing medication, healthcare professionals refer individuals to community-based activities and support, such as: volunteering opportunities, arts and creative projects, sports, gardening and nature therapy etc.
Professionals who are involved with the support or care of vulnerable people are asked to fill this survey to help us collect this data.
This survey is targeted to the following groups:
– Health care professionals,
– Occupational therapists
– Social workers / Youth workers
– Policy makers within the social or health sectors
– Researchers and educators within the social or health sectors
– Voluntary organisations and community groups
– Social care and rehabilitation professionals
– Therapists, councillors, psychologists, and mental health professionals
If you wish to send this survey to any other relevant person in your network, please feel free to do so.
At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to register for a lottery to win a trip to attend the final meeting of the SPACE project in Brussels in 2027. If you wish to participate, you can provide your contact details for inclusion in the lottery.
Please fill in this survey by Wednesday 30th April.
