During a press conference last Friday, the Energy and Water Agency (EWA), in collaboration with the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS), announced the launch of the 5th call of the Energy and Water Efficiency Scheme, which will open on Tuesday 15th July 2025.

With up to €27,000 in funding per organisation, this initiative aims to help VOs reduce energy and water consumption, lower operational costs, and adopt more sustainable practices.

The Nicolo Isouard Band Club, where the press conference was held, is also among the organisations that have benefitted from this scheme.
