On Friday 28th April 2023, the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector had the honour, as the National representative of the Voluntary Sector, to be received by H.E. the President of the Republic of Malta, Dr. George Vella at Sant’ Anton Palace.

The meeting included a discussion on the expansion of this sector in Malta, comprising an increasingly wide range of areas ranging from sports, disability, gender issues, band clubs, youth and the environment, among others. Both parties agreed on the importance of networking and complementarity between different entities to maximise on their available knowledge and resources.
