During October, the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector will be speaking to over 1000 students who will then be searching for their SOK placements. As part of this initiative, MCVS will be promoting VOs that want to benefit from these hours of support that the students can offer.

For this, MCVS will be promoting any volunteering opportunities listed on volunteers.mt.

Should you wish for MCVS to promote your VO and its opportunities during this initiative, please make sure you list your opportunity in the portal by no later than 25th October.

For a VO to list an opportunity, please follow these steps:

Listing a volunteering opportunity for SOK students

1. Register your organisation here: https://vofunding.org.mt/register
Your registration will take approx. 1 working day to be reviewed and accepted. If you’re already registered, you may skip this step.

2. Once that is done, click here to create the profile that you are looking for: https://volunteers.mt/voluntary-organisations/local-volunteers/#applyhere
For every role you need, you need to submit an application. 

3. The end result will look something like these examples: https://volunteers.mt/volunteer/voluntary-service/

4. Please make sure to tick the box where it says “We are accepting volunteers for short term placements” to indicate you wish to open this opportunity to SOK students.
