The Koperattiva Produtturi taz-Zebbug Limited has reached an agreement with the Malta Tourism Authority to develop the olive tourism product for Malta and Gozo, and also to offer training to the relevant operator interested in providing olive tourism services on their olive groves.

As part of this challenge, the Cooperative is launching the olive tourism project by organising a national conference with a number of distinguished speakers. The Conference will be held on 31st May, 2024 between 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

The olive tourism sector is flourishing in many Mediterranean Countries and the Cooperative believes that Malta must take this opportunity to develop this niche tourism market.

To make a success of this challenge, we require the support of various stakeholders, some of them originate from the civil society sector. Hence we are inviting interested civil society organisations to attend and participate in the Conference.
