The Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Employability is please to present the third session of the Active Citizenship Education titled ‘Colonialism: As seen, We see’

• What is a nation?
• What is the relation between nationalism and race?
•  Are we still colonised?
• How does democracy challenge nationalism, colonialism, and racism?

During the session we will explore how race has been utilised to limit democratic ideals and invite participants to reflect on the possibilities of perceiving citizenship and democracy beyond the nationalistic imagination.
