Title: Up and Running Youth workers/people connected/want to be connected with youth work

APPLY BY 1st APRIL Young people living in rural areas generally have fewer opportunities than their peers living in urban areas to engage in activities offered by youth workers, such as non-formal education activities, sports events or creative workshops.

A lot of youth centers use a method called MOBILE WORK, to bring rural youngsters these opportunities.

Course objectives –

To understand the concept of mobile youth work

To strengthen competencies and skills and increase knowledge of youth workers about mobile youth work

To reflect upon roles, responsibilities, challenges and needs, concerning mobile youth work

To provide a meeting point for organizations to exchange information, to support contact and cooperation between organizations, to establish international partnerships

To create a new activity for mobile work in the theme of green practices, that can be brought back home and played out/implemented together with youngsters

Travel costs reimbursed up to €360 €10 participation fee sending organisation + membership fee of €5 for non-members
