SOS Malta would like to invite you to Navigating the Rule of Law Report – A Training Session for Effective Contributions by Civil Society given by Dr Carla Camilleri from Aditus Foundation. The training will take place online on the 8th of April from 14:00-15:30.

The session will cover the following themes:

(i) Introduction to the Rule of Law Mechanism and the place of the EC Rule of Law Report;

(ii) Themes, recommendations and structure of the EC Rule of Law Report;

(iii) The process of the Commission’s scoping exercise: procedures, time-lines and meetings;

(iv) Explanation of the type of information wanted by the Commission;

(v) Brief outline of other processes and documents that assist in assessing developments such as legislative processes, previous NGO submissions, Resilience and Restructuring Plan, UN reports, Venice Commission Reports and case-law.
