J.O.Y.S Programme for Youth Volunteers

The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is collaborating with Right 2 Smile to bring youth volunteers monthly workshops supporting their self-development and well-being.

This month, the overall aim of the workshop is to promote awareness and understanding of human rights. Through engaging activities like charades, brainstorming, and reflection, the workshop aims to encourage participants to explore their own rights and the rights of others, fostering a sense of empathy and respect. By mapping human rights in their community, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these rights are upheld or challenged in their surroundings, leading to a greater appreciation for the importance of human rights and the need for collective action to protect them. Ultimately, the workshop seeks to empower individuals to become advocates for human rights and make positive contributions to their community.
