Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (Community)
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (community) is a religious organisation, founded by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Mahdias, in 1889 as a revival movement within Islam, emphasizing its essential teachings of peace, love, justice, and sanctity of life. Today, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the world’s largest Islamic community under one divinely appointed leader, the Caliph, His Holiness, Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community spans over 200 nations with membership exceeding tens of millions.
For more than one hundred years the Ahmadiyya Muslim community has been leading a peaceful revival of Islam. From the time it was founded in India in 1889 it has enjoyed an unrivalled record for peace and for its efforts to build cohesive societies.
Ahmadiyya is a community that stands for education, togetherness and interfaith peace. The community is also known for its humanitarian and social works locally in Malta and worldwide.
In essence “Love for All, Hatred for None” is the unique banner upheld by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and a message that we believe is the basis for lasting peace. Further information about our community is available at our website:
