The primary aim of the Organisation is to;

• strengthen and enhance the relationships between the various Music Societies;
• assist in their general needs and reduce problems which they might encounter;
• work to better the teaching of and increase the knowledge about the art of music;
• and finally, being a purely voluntary organisation, its work will not bear profit from the activities organised by the Association.
