To promote, preserve and enhance the religious, historical and cultural heritage intrinsic to the annual ritual revolving round Titular Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin, Mother of Christ (popularly known as Santa Marija), Ħal Għaxaq’s Patron Saint; both on the level of religious ceremonials and the external celebrations. The historical and cultural heritage includes the age-old pyrotechnic manufacture tradition, the conservation of the elaborate antique street decorations and the protection of all local village feast’s traditions related to the cult of the Assumption.

To provide free music education, both on a theory and a practical level, by professional music teachers.The cultivation and the promotion of Music through Banda Santa Marija, the organzation’s Band.

The function of Palazz Marija Assunta, the club’s premises as the hub of cultural and social gatherings for the Society’s members and their guests.
