Malta Gymnastics Federation known as also as MGF. MGF are passionate about doing the best they can for gymnastics. We all work towards common goals in educating coaches to reach their level of coaching building up Elite Athletes.
Malta Gymnastics Federation is the National Governing Body for the gymnastics in Malta. It was established in 1991. MGF is a regognized by Sports Malta and Malta Olympic Committee. It is also affiliated and registered with International Gymnastics Federation and European Gymnastics.
Malta Gymnastics Roles and Responsabilties:
- Monitor memberships and participation level in Malta.
- Deliver coach and Judge education programs in Malta.
- Set Standards and Policies for the conduct of gymnastics in Malta.
- Monitor the Implentation of child protection, equity, Health and safety and ethics Policies.
- Mediate in grievance and disciplinary issues and appeals where appropriate.
- Oversee the implementation of long term athlete development for gymnastics in Malta.
- Run Competition both Locally and International structure in Malta.
- Provide Pathway for talented Maltese Gymnast gymnast that feeds info Maltese world class programs.
- Nominate and prepare Maltese Teams Malta Olympic Comitte.
