MATSAC aims to promote and safeguard the interests of all Shooting Sports, Weapon & Ammunition Collecting and Militaria. MATSAC shall maintain an active approach in promoting safe and legal practices thus ensuring participation of a safe and successful nature at shooting venues organised by MATSAC, its affiliates or any other Association or Organisation both locally and abroad. MATSAC shall take every opportunity to guide its members on matters of the law; rules and regulations of the various disciplines; to participate in recreational and competitive shooting activities; educate Collectors with best practices in safe keeping, safeguarding, protecting and maintaining Militaria, ammunition & weapon collections respecting the historical aspects and promoting historical re-enactments.
MATSAC also offers courses leading to Target Licence A, Target Licence B, Collectors Licence A, safe handling, coaching, training, training aids and support for: Reloading, Weapons Handling, Cleaning and Safekeeping, Black Powder, Coaching on Militaria, Antique, Artistic, Historical and Rare Weapons, their history, up-keep and preservation within the legal frameworks. Yearly Refreshers including Range Etiquette.
