“The Marie Midolo Foundation is a purpose foundation established for the following purposes and objects:
(i) To provide free and/or subsidized general and/or specialized teaching, education and tuition services, whether in Malta or in any developing State, through the setting up of tuition classes, school/s or other educational and/or vocational training facilities, and the organisation of, or participation in, educational programmes, sessions, courses, workshops and any other similar activity directed at providing academic education, vocational training or the teaching or enhancement of personal and life skills;
(ii) In order to give effect to the foregoing:
- to set up the necessary premises and facilities, and to train teaching staff;
- to create academic or vocational learning opportunities for willing young, and older, students who are otherwise unable to bear the costs thereof;
- to help talented individuals, young or older, to nurture their abilities, particularly in performing arts and crafts;
- to finance learning opportunities to young, and older, students who lacking adequate financial means, through participating in learning and/or team building and/or cultural activities or experiences;
- to do all such other ancillary acts as may be necessary to attain the purposes of the Foundation.”
