Soċjetà Sant’ Andrija Villa – Lija is a cultural and social organisation established way back in 1880 to promote music and culture amongst the people of the village of Lija. Its main task is to participate in the feast of the patron saint of Lija, Our Saviour, (Transfiguration of our Christ) which is held on the 6th of August. It organises band marches and also decorate the streets of Lija during the feast of Lija’s titular Patron.

The organization since its early years had as its main mission the external organisation of the feast of Our Saviour.  It is also involved in various cultural and social activities throughout the year for the benefit of the whole community.
