The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation is a non-profit, independent and non-governmental organisation created by the sons and husband of the investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was assassinated in a car bomb attack in Malta on 16 October 2017. We work to achieve the following aims, both in Malta and internationally: ensuring the public interest of full justice for Daphne’s assassination; supporting efforts to protect investigative journalists; ending impunity for the murder of journalists; guardianship of Daphne’s work; promoting a culture of public interest litigation; and supporting independent, non-partisan media.
