MCVS has been awarded a grant by CEV (Centre for European Volunteering) to organise a Family Day, the aim of which is to promote inclusion and facilitate inclusive volunteering opportunities for persons with disability.   

MCVS is collaborating with Aġenzija Sapport to organise this event at a public family park this coming October. We will be hosting an open day of activities for Maltese families, and in this regard, VOs who are interested in participating can choose to participate in one or more of the following areas:

1) Market Area (to sell home-home items produced by VOs)
2) Food Vendors / Food Trucks
3) Children’s Entertainment 
4) Workshops and Activities for the public
5) Performances or Art and Culture Shows

Tentative date: 20th October 2024
Time: 10am – 4pm

The participating organisations will be assisted by volunteers with a disability (bridging process will be facilitated by MCVS and Agenzija Sapport) who will support them throughout their various activities in preparation to the event and/or on the day.
