Council Elections 2019

The 5th MALTA COUNCIL FOR THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR shall be elected on the 16th November 2019 in terms of Voluntary Organisations Act 2018.  The new Council shall be composed of a Chairperson and another ten members. Out of these eleven members one (1) member shall be appointed by the Minister to represent the Government; four (4) members shall be appointed by the Minister
from among the voluntary sector in order to represent voluntary organisations (A); and six (6) members shall be elected directly by the voluntary sector (B).

The election of the six Council Members to be elected directly by the VO  Sector shall take place on Saturday the 16th November 2019 between 08.00 a.m. and 06.00 p.m.

VOs are to note that since the voting will be done online through the VO funding portal, www.vofunding.org.mt,  VOs are to be registered with the same portal preferably by Friday the 15th November office hours so they may be given access to vote on Saturday.
