On Saturday 20th April 2024 between 9am and 1pm, MCVS shall be hosting an open day at the newly refurbished Gozo Volunteer Support Centre in Xewkija. This is an ideal opportunity, particularly for Voluntary Organisations (VOs) and prospective VOs in Gozo, to visit the premises, learn about services and funding for VOs and discuss any issues. No booking is needed except for the information sessions below.

On the day, MCVS officers will also be conducting one-to-one meetings to give information and discuss issues related to funding lines and services managed by MCVS. These include the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme (VOPS), the Small Initiatives Scheme (SIS), the Civil Society Fund (CSF), the NGO Co-Financing Fund (NCF), the Training Initiatives Scheme (TIS) and the Youth Voluntary Service (YVS).

Representatives of Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta (SEM) and the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations (OCVO) will also be available through-out the activity.

10am – Information session on MCVS local funding opportunities for VOs
11.30am – Information session by SEM on EU funding opportunities that VOs can tap into and their services
