The Down Syndrome Association Malta invites quotations for the provision of tutors and assistant tutors for VOPS project A4.01.2024 as per below:
We require the services of a tutor and an assistant tutor for our Saturday morning D.S. Achieve Project, a life skills course for youths with Down syndrome!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young individuals with Down syndrome? We are looking for a dedicated tutor and an assistant tutor to join our team and lead our weekly life skills course.
Specifications of services requested:
– Coordinate a life skills course every Saturday morning for youths with Down Syndrome.
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on independence skills.
– Work collaboratively within a team to bring fresh ideas and foster a supportive environment.
– Take the lead in group activities and provide guidance and support to participants.
Requirements of candidates applying:
– Supply Learning Support Educator or similar roles and experiences with persons with disabilities.
– Ability to work effectively in a group setting and contribute innovative ideas.
– Strong leadership skills with a passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
Resources for the sessions will be provided by the Down Syndrome Association Malta.
