Expression of Interest for Prospective
National Trainers of the Youth in Action (YiA) Programme.
Deadline 22 March 2012 at noon.

The EUPA is receiving applications from independent individuals with a view to constitute a list of trainers to conduct training courses and other relevant activities under the TCP Youth in Action (YiA) Programme. In the future selected applicants may be required to conduct training courses and other activities such as Seminars, Partnership Building Activities, Networking Activities, and Contact Making Seminars.

The task of the trainers will be to assist the EUPA in the execution of the above-stated tasks with reference of the YiA Programme. The Trainers will be selected based on their established competence according to selection criteria drawn up specific to the call. The Selected applicants shall be called for an interview and to participate in a training course organised by EUPA.

Aim of the Training Course: The aim of this training course is to train trainers who have the competences and the motivation to contribute to the improvement of the quality of trainings within the Youth in Action Programme of the European Union. The Training Course for the Pool of National Trainers considers the competences listed hereunder to be essential when working as a non-formal education trainer within the Youth in Action programme:

  • The competence to include a European Dimension in the training courses to develop a know how on the values and purposes of the Youth in Action Programme;
  • The competence to design, implement and evaluate training programmes;
  • The competence to co-operate in international/local teams of trainers/facilitators;

Date of training: 13-15 April 2012 (three full days starting from Friday 13th morning till Sunday 15th late afternoon)

Target Group: 15 trainers
Working Language: English
