Two funding schemes by the Energy and Water Agency for Voluntary Organisations have just been announced. These are:

(1) The Energy and Water Efficiency Scheme for Voluntary Organisations to assist in reducing their energy and water consumption and to address the National sustainability targets. Application will open on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 4pm. More information HERE. *UPDATE* 26-04-2024: This scheme is officially Fully Subscribed! The Energy and Water Agency and MCVS would like to thank all organisations that showed interest in the scheme. Registrations are now closed.

(2) Energy and Water Agency Initiative to promote the Deployment of Renewable Energy Sources by Voluntary Organisations to enable Voluntary Organisations to install and run a Photovoltaic (PV) System to be used on their premises. Applications will open on Monday 29th April 2024 at 10am. More information HERE.

All the information, rules and application forms related to the schemes can be found on the VO Funding Portal vofunding.org.mt and energywateragency.gov.mt. The applications are to be submitted as per each scheme rules.

Information Meeting

An information meeting shall be held online by the Energy & Water Agency in collaboration with the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector in order to assist voluntary organisations on how to apply for the above two nationally funded schemes.

This is being held on Thursday 18th April 2024 at 6pm. VOs interested to participate in the information meeting are to fill in form by not later than the Wednesday 17th April office hours. The meeting link will be sent on the day of the meeting in morning.
