Training sessions on Safeguarding Youths and Children

The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is collaborating with the Office of the Commissioner for VOs (OCVO) and Ms Kerry Hermitage to provide 2 training sessions dedicated to Safeguarding. Please find more details regarding the training below: 

Content: 
The training session focuses on fostering a safeguarding company culture by educating staff on recognizing signs of abuse, understanding legal frameworks, and implementing reporting procedures. It emphasizes creating a safe environment for disclosure, developing response strategies through case studies, and integrating safeguarding principles into organizational policies. Participants will learn to promote the well-being and protection of children and youth effectively.

Deadline to submit your registration is 2nd May 2024 – noon. 

Each voluntary organisation may apply for a maximum of 2 volunteers. Each training session will have an intake of a maximum of 40 participants; hence we encourage VOs to submit their application as soon as possible to secure your spot.
