Once more the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector in collaboration with the Malta Photographic Society is organising
the MCVS Competition and Exhibition of Photography for 2022. The Competition is open to members of established Photographic
Organisations, free lance photographers as well as the general public. Participants are to be 16 years of age or older on the
closing date of the submissions, Friday 25th November 2022 and are to be residents of Malta.
Photographers are invited to participate either in the COLOUR PROJECTED IMAGES and/or MONOCHROME PROJECTED IMAGES
The name chosen for this year’s competition is: Volunteering… Moving on! Capture the moment…! The subject matter for
this competition may be individuals, group, events and anything related to volunteering falling under any and all of the following
Volunteering Sectors: Social, Humanitarian, Environment, Animal Welfare, Education, Youth, Sports, Arts, Culture, Health and
Disability.
Entries, which are FREE, must be submitted to the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector, 181, Melita Street, Valletta by
Friday 25th November 2022 noon. No submissions will be accepted after the closing date and time.
The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector shall be awarding the following in both competing categories, that is, Colour Projected
Images and Monochrome Projected Images:
- A trophy, a certificate and a money voucher of €1,000.00 will be awarded to the FIRST placed entries
- A trophy, a certificate and a money voucher of €500.00 will be awarded to the SECOND placed entries
- A trophy, a certificate and a money voucher of €300.00 will be awarded to the THIRD placed entries
The accepted photographs will be exhibited in an exhibition organised by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector
celebrating volunteering later this year.
