Following the call for nominations from voluntary organisations to put forward nominations to sit on the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector on behalf of the Gozo Sector, there were more than one nomination submitted. For this purpose, an online election was held opening on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th March 2023. The voting was closed at 5pm in the presence of the Commissioner for VOs Mr Jesmond Saliba.
 
The results were as follows:

• Mr Frank Muscat – Gozo NGOs Association (VO/0145) – 9 votes.
• Mr Josmar Azzopardi – Għawdix (VO/1152) – 1 vote.
• Ms Ann Camilleri – Inspire (Gozo Branch) (VO/0199) – 1 vote.

As a result, Mr Frank Muscat is now the elected representative for the Gozo Sector on the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector.
