The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) held its annual Grant Award Ceremony to distribute funds under the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme (VOPS) and the Small Initiatives Support Scheme (SIS). This year there were 43 organisations benefitting under the VOP Scheme and 40 organisations under the SIS Scheme. The amount of funds committed under these schemes amounted to €830,000. The Grant Award Ceremony was hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel, St. Julians under the patronage of the Hon. Julia Farrugia Portelli , Minister for Inclusion, Social Wellbeing and Voluntary Organisations who presented the grant awards in the presence of Dr. Noel Camilleri, Chairperson MCVS, Mr. Jesmond Saliba, Commissioner for VOs and Mr. Mauro Pace Parascandalo, CEO, MCVS.
