“CEV expresses our solidarity with all those suffering from the war in Ukraine and by any other armed conflict in the world, and with the volunteers and all those acting to stand against violence and offer support and refuge.

We honour all the volunteers in the front line of humanitarian support within and outside Ukraine who are showing human compassion & love to those who are suffering.” (CEV Statement)

MCVS Coordination Meeting in relation to the Ukraine Situation

In relation to the situation in Ukraine, as part of its remit and as requested by the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, MCVS shall coordinate with Voluntary Organisations operating locally and/or overseas. This should facilitate information to VOs, prevent duplication of work and provide VOs with the necessary support for their operation.

For this reason, a meeting shall be held by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector on Tuesday the 29th of March 2022 at 5.00 p.m. at the Volunteer Centre in Valletta.

We invite Voluntary Organisations to participate and inform us of their participation by sending an email on mcvs.miwv@gov.mt by Monday the 28th of March 2022 office hours.
